Mosby’s Drug Guide for Nurses, 7th edition contains incorrect information regarding the dosage of ropinirole (REQUIP) for Restless Leg Syndrome.
Location of error: Mosby's Drug Guide for Nurses, 7th edition, page 883, ropinirole information, the Restless Legs Syndrome dose under the Dosage and Routes heading
Currently reads: Adult: PO 25 mg at bedtime, may increase until symptoms resolve
Should read: Adult: PO 0.25 mg at bedtime, may increase until symptoms resolve
The dosage under Restless Legs Syndrome will be corrected to read, “Adult: PO 0.25 mg at bedtime, may increase until symptoms resolve” in Mosby’s Drug Guide for Nurses, 7 edition, with 2008 Update due to be published Summer 2007.
