CORRECTION NOTICE - HYDROMORPHONE MONOGRAPH IN LEXI-DRUGS
(11/17/2009)
On October 8, 2009, Lexi-Comp added the following note in the Adult IV dosing portion of the HYDROmorphone monograph:
“Note: The American Pain Society recommends an initial dose of 4-8 mg for severe pain in adults.”
This note only pertains to the Oral Dosing section of the monograph. Lexi-Comp corrected this dosage note on November 10, 2009. If you have updated your PDA software anytime between October 8, 2009 and November 10, 2009, please re-update your PDA software now so this note will appear correctly only in the Oral Dosing section. We apologize for this inconvenience.
