Correction Notice for Pediatric Injectable Drugs, Eighth Edition

The Dextrose monograph in Pediatric Injectable Drugs, Eighth Edition, ("The Teddy Bear Book") has an error. On page 134, in the Dosage section, the instructions for treating hypoglycemia should be divided into the following three groups: preterm neonates; term neonates and infants younger than age 6 months; and infants age 6 months or older and children. ASHP, the publisher of Pediatric Injectable Drugs, asks you to make this correction in all copies of the book's eighth edition and communicate the correction to staff members who may use the book. www.ashp.org/Import/NEWS/Corrections/CorrectionNotice_1.aspx
