Regina Atim, PharmD is a Regulatory Compliance and Clinical Informatics expert. She has dedicated her career to advancing patient safety through her expertise in Pharmaceutical Science and Clinical Informatics. It is Dr. Atim’s belief that patient safety is best advanced when Human Factors Engineering is leveraged to inform the design of a product, especially if the device requires interoperability with Electronic Health Records. To help drive this initiative, Dr. Atim founded Clinicians Touch Healthcare Solutions (CTH). The experts at Clinicians Touch provide services ranging from Quality & Process improvement, Design & Development Planning, Clinical Training & Implementation, to Regulatory Compliance, and Human Factors Engineering (HFE). Dr. Atim is currently on assignment with Becton Dickinson (BD), providing Human Factors Engineering support to the Medication Management Solutions (MMS) business. She is also an Adjunct Clinical Professor at the University of San Diego- Hann School Of Nursing teaching Clinical Informatics, as well as APPE Preceptor for Howard University School of Pharmacy. Dr. Atim is also Chair of Academic Alliance for the So-Cal chapter of HIMSS.

Dr. Atim earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from University of the Sciences- Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science. She also obtained her Master of Business Administration from Northeastern University. She holds the following certifications: Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS), Certified Trainer for the HIMSS CPHIMS/CAPHIMS, Board Certification in Medical Affairs (BCMA), Medical Device Single Audit Program (MDSAP).
