Jill Paslier PharmD, CSP
Jill Paslier is a 2020-2021 International Medication Safety Management Fellow at the Institute for Safe Medication Practices (ISMP). Prior to starting this fellowship, Jill was involved in developing workflows and clinical services for a new specialty pharmacy with Banner Health near Phoenix, Arizona. Jill developed and chaired the pharmacy Quality Council which included error tracking, adverse drug event review, proactive risk assessments, and writing and managing over 100 policies and procedures. Jill worked with the core accreditation team to achieve URAC and ACHC accreditations. She was also the primary preceptor for students, interns, and residents.
Her professional interests include working on projects to improve patient safety, optimizing pharmacy workflows, helping pharmacies align with accreditations, regulatory bodies and contracts and educating others about medication safety best practices.
Jill is from Plymouth, Minnesota and received a BS in Biochemistry and a BA in French from Calvin College in 2009 and a PharmD from the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy in 2014. She achieved her Certified Specialty Pharmacist (CSP) Certificate in 2017 and ASHP/ISMP Medication Safety Certificate in 2018.
